Dynamic DJ services has been our DJ at the school dances for the past 5 years. We have come to rely on him for providing the best bang for your buck! He is energetic and will tweak the playlist to suit your needs. He can keep a group of 400+ 5th and 6th graders happy and dancing for 2 hours!!
Having Jamie Timberlake with Dynamic DJ Services provide the music at our wedding was the best decision we made in regards to hiring vendors for our wedding. In retrospect, this was the only vendor that I didn't have to keep tabs on or remind him of anything throughout the ceremony or reception. He actually kept me on my toes when we were down to the wire on time to make decisions about certain songs and I hadn't finalized the choice yet.
Jamie made the process easy by providing us with a wedding music guideline, for lack of better words, which broke down the music selections for various portions of the wedding. I was concerned with the large, diverse group of family and friends we were having, as well as the variety of music my husband and myself listen to. That was a stress I wish I could've taken back as Jamie transitioned seamlessly through the evening, pleasing everyone from the younger crowd to the older! There were no awkward silent moments or pauses between songs and he kept it clean by playing edited versions of popular songs for the little ears we had present (which I appreciated very much!).
I was the bride that literally planned every, single detail for over 14 months. So needless to say, when we met with Jamie before the wedding to iron out all of the details, I was ready with more songs than he could've played at three weddings. He was also very encouraging when I was having doubts about the father/daughter dance song.
I stuck true to my roots, per his advice, and danced with my father to an "alternative" choice that was perfect for us! I'm so glad I didn't cave and go with more of a traditional "sappy" song. Jamie was also quick to have suggestions based on our wants and wedding vision. I certainly wouldn't limit his skills to just weddings, but from experience, he nailed it! He provided all of the music for our wedding: soft seating music prior to the ceremony, the ceremony processional and recessional, cocktail hour, entrance and exit to the reception, bouquet toss, garter toss, all special songs/dances, took requests from guests as well as all of the music during the reception.
He's got a very pleasant and professional voice that does command attention, which is perfect for his job! But he also is experienced and offered suggestions that one may not think of referencing when to perhaps be quieter (i.e. releasing tables one at a time to help themselves to the buffet- I was going to have him call over the microphone each table number and he suggested walking table to table and informing them face-to-face versus over the loud speaker.
This seemed small, but it allowed for uninterrupted mingling over dinner!) We received many positive comments in regards to the music and our DJ. I would recommend Dynamic DJ Services to anyone who's looking for a fun DJ with a great voice who knows his stuff and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure your event has a great vibe!

We were so pleased with Mr. Timberlake and his DJ services. Our daughter was married last year and he did a fantastic job, announcing the wedding party, and all those exciting moments in a reception! Most important, was the music that, both he had chosen and the bride and groom had chosen. The quality and professionalism, of sound and flow of the evening, was flawless! Our first experience with, Dynamic DJ Services was, a few yrs ago, at my husbands, surprise, 45th birthday party at a local Hotel. It was perfect, and he was able to play such variety of music that people who didn't normally get up and dance, were out of their seats and having such a great time! That is proof of a qualified DJ! We have another wedding in June of 2015, and, of course, we have Jamie Timberlake's company, Dynamic DJ Services coming to complete our plans for a wonderful evening.

I have been working with Jamie for several years for the Powhatan Relay for Life. He is professional, accommodating many different talents and bands, Relay would not be the same without Jamie. What many community members don't know is that he does this hard 12 hours as a donation to the cause of finding a cure for cancer. More people should know what a great asset he is to our community! I would recommend him for any occasion, any setting, any event.
